I’m Marvin, a Berlin-based travel blogger juggling full-time work and numbered vacation days with an urge to travel the world.
Chances are we are in the same position. I feel you.
But so far, I haven't let the limits of a full-time job stop me from traveling the world.
And I want you to do the same.
In other words, I'm glad you're here!

When I was 16, I got the chance to spend a year abroad in the States. Ever since, I have used that experience as a handy excuse to travel the world.
That travel bug bit hard. And it didn’t let go.
My roots lie in western Germany, right next to the Dutch, Belgian, and French border. Hence, I grew up breathing European air from the very beginning.
Currently, I live and work in Berlin (politics - surprise!).
Within Germany, it's hard to beat the vibrant and international atmosphere in our capital.
For me, travel is not only leisure time fun, but a passion.
Exploring new places, engaging local conditions, and taking in other views is an incredibly rich experience that only travel can provide.
This is the feeling I want to convey through the Part-Time Passenger.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for people who lead a nomadic travel lifestyle. But in my opinion, you shouldn’t have to choose between an (unarguably) exciting life on the road and a stable home base.
This is why I travel part-time - and I want you to do the same!
